<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kimi sets the world record in Canada for winning his first 4 race in a row as George’s car broke down. Hamilton came in second as Max got the third spot. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/kimi-canada-gp-winner.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1822" style="width:498px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/kimi-canada-gp-winner.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/kimi-canada-gp-winner.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/kimi-canada-gp-winner.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/kimi-canada-gp-winner.jpg?w=960&amp;ssl=1 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mercedes strong but disappoint George</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kimi had won 3 races in a row and that obviously put a lot of pressure on George. He brushed it off saying that Miami anyway was not his strong hunting ground. Things were suppose to get better from Canada and for the European leg of the race. Kimi had struggled in Europe last year. George looked confident and he did perform well in the Sprint Quali and the Sprint race. Things got heated up in the Sprint race between George and Kimi but then Toto Wolff would have got things under control. In the Quali Kimi looked very confident but then lost by a narrow margin to George in the last run of Q3.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With the rain threatening, the race started in a dicey condition. Kimi got ahead of George but could not fly away as he would have expected. George got the lead again. There was a lot of back and forth between the two and things were getting spicy. However mid-way, George’s car just stopped on the track. This was a big jolt. His deficit was already increasing and now it is 43 points. Kimi is on a high and George is distraught. However this is a long season and like last year the senior team member still can catch up. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">McLaren disaster in Canada</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">McLaren have got some good upgrades and they are looking solid. However they started the race on Inters when everyone else was on slicks. This costed them dearly and both their drivers had to come for pit-stop quickly and they fell down the grid. It will be a race to forget for the McLarens. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Upbeat Hamilton in Canada </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hamilton was looking quite upbeat in Canada. He was fast but could only secure P5 in the grid. He got a good start and after McLaren fumble and George DNF he was fighting with Max for the second spot on the podium. This confident Hamilton is seen after a long time. He would be looking forward to Monaco. On the other hand Charles was not in the groove at all. There was no pace and he just wanted the race to be over. He still finished a respectable P4. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Max pushing up in Canada</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Max had a solid last weekend in Nürburgring, which he did not win but was super still. He was off the pace here and complaining all the time but still finished on the podium. Isack Hadjar had issues too and the pace was missing but still finished P5. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Franco Colapinto got the finish finish at P6 and Gasly P8. Liam Lawson got P7, Carlos P9 and Ollie P10. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kimi scores a hat-trick in Miami and firms his grip on the Championship. Mclaren have done mighty well to recover as Lando finished P2 and Oscar P3.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="450" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner.jpg?resize=800%2C450&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1815" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=1536%2C864&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?w=2048&amp;ssl=1 2048w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Kimi-miami-26-winner-scaled.jpg?w=1600&amp;ssl=1 1600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Kimi hat-trick in Miami </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mercedes was ahead in the game of building a solid car and an engine in the new regulations. George Russell started the year well and was firmly in command of the season in the beginning. Things started to turn around from China. In his just second season in F1 Kimi is already a proven race winner. Kimi is just 19 years old and Toto Wolff put in a some good faith by putting Kimi directly in the top team. There were a lot of edges to be smoothened in the first season but the patience seem to be paying off now. Kimi is consistent and seem to have been better adapted to this new car. The race was not smooth though. Kimi had a bad start, again, and then he had to claw his way back to the top. He did a great job and has become the first ever driver to have got first three poles in a row as well as converted it into wins. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">George Russell needs to seriously think about the situation and he cannot take things for granted. George treated Kimi as the younger brother and his protege of sorts. However Kimi has turned out to be more than a handful. He finished P4 but was out of touch throughout the weekend. He has some catching up to do. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">McLaren come back in Miami </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Speaking of come back, McLaren seems to have recovered some solid ground after a big break. They were almost in the mid-field when the season started. Now they are very much in the contention to fight Mercedes. Lando found his mojo back in Miami and was super in the Sprint. Even the main race he made his way to P2. Oscar did well in Japan but here seemed to be out of touch. He still managed to be on the podium at P3. Mercedes will be getting upgrades the next race and McLaren needs to be careful to lose the momentum. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ferrari fumble in Miami </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ferrari as usual looked promising but then the results showed otherwise Charles LeClerc looked good. He started in P3, got ahead in the race but then slowly fell back to P3 as Kimi and Lando got ahead of him. Then towards the end even Oscar got ahead. Things went from bad to worse as Charles had a minor crash on the last lap and he had to get his broken car back to the finish line. From leading the race at the start he finished a lowly P8 in the end. Hamilton also did not have much to talk about. He finished P7. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Max comeback in Miami </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Red Bull seemed to have made a good come back. The car is much more nicer to drive, especially in the hands of Max. He started from the front row but an early pit stop meant driving on the Hard tyre for a majority of the race. He slipped down and eventually finished in P5. Still a lot of positives for the team. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Franco Colapinto finished an impressive P7 while both the Williams driver scored points. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Miami GP Top 10 : Kimi wins </h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/miami-kimi-top-10-winner.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1816" style="width:515px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/miami-kimi-top-10-winner.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/miami-kimi-top-10-winner.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/miami-kimi-top-10-winner.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/miami-kimi-top-10-winner.jpg?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kimi wins the race in Japan to become the youngest title leader. Oscar finally starting a race finished P2 while LeClerc held off George to finish P3.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1804" style="aspect-ratio:0.7997970180232271;width:568px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026-scaled.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026-scaled.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026-scaled.jpg?resize=1229%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1229w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/japan-gp-kimi-2026-scaled.jpg?w=1638&amp;ssl=1 1638w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Kimi showing pace in Japan </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We know that the Mercedes is fast and they have an upper hand in the starting of the season with all the new regulations. What has come as a surprise is how close is Kimi to his well established team-mate George Russell. His rookie season last year had his share of ups and downs as one would expect from an 18 year old directly hurled into a top team like Mercedes. That patience by Toto Wolff has paid off as the new season started. Kimi is on the pace right from get go. He was close to George in every practice session in all the race. He won the race in China to become the second youngest race winner, after Max Verstappen. That could have been attributed to a bit of luck. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However here in Japan he was better than George in all the practice session and got the Pole. George was struggling with issues and he was never close to Kimi. Then the start went bad as it has been the case with Mercedes in all the races. Kimi went down to P6. George also had a bad start but still maintained a decent position. <br><br>Then Bearman had a massive shunt which changed the fortunes for everyone. George had pitted just a lap before and Kimi got a free pitstop. He made the most of it and took the race win. Kimi is the youngest Championship leader in F1. While we had a long season ahead George cannot take things for granted anymore. Also McLaren, especially under the hands of Piastri showed solid pace and they can be a contender soon. <br><br><br>Piastri starts a race, finishes P2 in Japan </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Oscar Piastri was unfortunate to not even start the first two races. Here he got a good start and well into the lead but then the Safety car and he had to settle for P2. Lando finished P5 and he seems to be content with the 2025 Championship and not showing the hunger anymore. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br><br>Ferrari P3 and P6 in Japan </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Charles had a good race to finish P3. However Ferrari still doesn’t have the race pace to fight Mercedes. Now even McLaren seems to be coming strong and fighting with them. Hamilton looked good but eventually settled for P6. Ferrari had a good car and is solid at the start but they need to work hard to get more performance if they want to fight Mercedes for the title. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pierre Gasly had a solid race as he kept Max Verstappen off and finished P7 while Max finished P8. Would would have thought this was possible even a few years back. Liam Lawson finished P9 and Esteban scored the final race point. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Japan GP Top 10: Kimi wins the race </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mercedes seems to have the upper hand in the new regulations as George wins the opening race in Australia. Fellow driver Kimi Antonelli came second while Charles got the final podium spot. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1800" style="aspect-ratio:0.79980355359623;width:410px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner-scaled.jpg?resize=1229%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1229w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/George-Russell-Australia-2026-winner-scaled.jpg?w=1638&amp;ssl=1 1638w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">George takes Merc to victory in Australia</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mercedes looked solid in all the practice sessions. While they missed the regulations from 2022-25, it doesn’t seem to be the case in this new era. They control the PU and also have a solid team which can build a Championship winning car. The Qualifying was astonishing as both the Merc had a healthy lead over Ferrari which seemed like a distant second. <br><br>George did not get the start he hoped for as Charles got a solid start. However Mercedes made the most of the Virtual Safety Car and got the pitstops at the right time. George had the pace and eventually overtook the two Ferraris. Kimi did a decent job too with being there with George all the time. Mercedes seem to have the upper hand currently but it needs to be seen if they can sustain it in the entire season. <br><br>Ferrari second best in Australia <br><br>Ferrari have a good package but they need to work on the performance. Charles LeClerc got a solid start but it was not enough to sustain it. He finished third and Hamilton was fourth. They have a good starting point but fighting Mercedes would not be easy. Ferrari have two solid drivers they just need to get everything together. <br><br>Arvid Lindblad scored points in his rookie F1 race. Audi scored points in their first F1 race. <br><br>Australia GP : Top 10 – George wins<br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lando wins the Championship by securing P3 in Abu Dhabi. Max won the race but that was not enough. Same with Oscar who came P2. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1788" style="aspect-ratio:0.7998088634417301;width:513px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion-scaled.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion-scaled.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion-scaled.jpg?resize=1229%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1229w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-lando-2025-champion-scaled.jpg?w=1638&amp;ssl=1 1638w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Lando Champion in Abu Dhabi</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lando had a lead of 12 points over Max coming in to Abu Dhabi. That’s a good lead but not enough to secure the Championship by default. Max got the Pole and he looks in the prime of his life. He was cool and composed, as a 4 time World Champion, with nothing to lose. Lando started the race in P2. He had everything to lose. If Max won the race and Lando was not on the podium then the Championship was gone to Max. He had to play it safe as much as possible, without losing further ground to the racers behind him. The first turn would be crucial and Max is known to be a person who can push the limits to get what he wants. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In a way it was good for Lando that Max was on Pole and he was P2. Had it been reversed there is a big chance that Max would have dive bombed to get ahead. Lando would take evasive action to get out of the track. He won’t mind letting Max go ahead but in the process could lead to other drivers getting ahead too. As the race started the first turn went well and there was no chaos. Lando nicely tucked behind Max and let him go ahead. Oscar too behaved well. However he went ahead of Lando in a few laps, while behind on Hards. It is not sure whether this was intentional by the team or just Oscar trying to maximize his chances. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Cool Lando in Abu Dhabi</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After that the race went on pretty much in an uneventful way. There was a threat of Charles driving quickly and threatening Lando in P3. However the threat subsided soon and Lando cruised to P3 and the Championship. It was a hard fought Championship for Lando. He started off well but then Oscar got in top form as the season went on. Then it in the second hard we saw the resurgent of Max. From being 104 points behind the leader, Max finished just two points behind. It was an incredible recovery for him. For Oscar things fell apart after Baku. The usually calm and composed Aussie started flustering and showing signs of Championship pressure. He got the form back in Qatar but by then it was too late. In all of this Lando was positive and cool, something we did not see last year as he was fighting Max. While all three were worthy contenders of the Title, it was a well deserved Championship for Lando Norris. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Abu Dhabi : Final 2025 Driver Points </h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-2025-final-standing-.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1790" style="aspect-ratio:0.79980355359623;width:619px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-2025-final-standing-.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-2025-final-standing-.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-2025-final-standing-.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/abu-dhabi-2025-final-standing-.jpg?w=960&amp;ssl=1 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Max won the race in Qatar after a good strategy call by Red Bull. Oscar would be disappointed with P2 while Carlos would be super elated with his second podium this season. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-.jpg?resize=683%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1778" style="width:526px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max--scaled.jpg?resize=683%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 683w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max--scaled.jpg?resize=200%2C300&amp;ssl=1 200w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max--scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C1152&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max--scaled.jpg?resize=1024%2C1536&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max--scaled.jpg?w=1366&amp;ssl=1 1366w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Max Magic in Qatar</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can never count out Max Verstappen in any race. The Red Bull was not in good performance window this weekend. Both the Sprint Quali and Sprint Race did not go well for Max. However expect Max to make the most come race day. McLarens seem utterly dominating with a front row start. Max was starting P3 and jumped Lando to go P2 in the race. Things turned when Nico bumped into Gasly, bringing in the safety car. This changed the game completely as Max went for a pitstop but the McLarens preferred track position. This meant that Max eventually got to lead the race and he kept the position while McLarens struggled to fight back. Right now Max is just 12 points behind Lando and the Championship is very much on. A bad Quali or a DNF from Lando means that Max will be a 5 time World Champion. He certainly has the mentality to stay calm and take things down the wire. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yuki San had his ups and downs this weekend. For the first time he was ahead of Max in Sprint Quali and did well in the Sprint race too. However the performance was good for the main race as he was out in Q1 and then did not impress much. His seat is very precarious right now and he would be expected to help Max as much as possible for the final showdown in Abu Dhabi next week. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">McLaren fumble in Qatar</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">McLaren had everything to lose this weekend and lose they did. This is the weekend when Oscar found his form back, although it might be a bit too late in the season. The Sprint went well for Oscar and he got the maximum points. The Quali went well too and he got the Pole. Even the race start went well as he was comfortably ahead after the start. However the McLaren at lap 7 when the Safety Car came meant that everything went out for the toss. Instead of winning the race Oscar finished P2, a good 7 points behind Max. Lando finished P4 and he would not be happy with that either. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was the race where Lando could have sealed the Championship. Instead it is wide open now with Max 12 points behind Lando. Given it is his first time, there would be immense pressure on Lando. He needs to make sure that he doesn’t make any mistake in Abu Dhabi and then it is all down to pure luck. A Latifi like incident in 2021 Abu Dhabi can change everything. Then it was Lewis on the other end but the same Max who is willing to pounce on any mistake you make. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Carlos P3 in Qatar</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Carlos was over the moon with his second podium finish. It is something he had not imagined when signing the contract with Williams. Mercedes had the pace but still did an ok job with Kimi finishing P5 and George P6. Alonso came a respectable P7, Charles P8, Liam P9 and Yuki got the final point position. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Qatar GP : Max and Oscar still in the hunt </h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-top-10.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1779" style="width:477px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-top-10.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-top-10.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-top-10.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Qatar-2025-Max-top-10.jpg?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Max Verstappen wins the race in Vegas as he overtook Lando at the first turn. Both the McLarens got disqualified after the race as the lower plank wore off too much.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Max-Vegas-2025.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1774" style="width:557px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Max-Vegas-2025.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Max-Vegas-2025.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Max-Vegas-2025.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Max-Vegas-2025.jpg?w=960&amp;ssl=1 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mega Max in Vegas</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Max Verstappen started from P2 with Lando on the Pole position. At the start Lando went too aggressive and tried to cut off Max. In all of this he pushed too far and was not in the race track limits. This gave Max the opportunity to get ahead and from then on there was no looking back. He maintained the pace throughout the race and was comfortably ahead of Lando and George. The Driver Championship is far from over with two races and Sprint still to go. Max without a doubt is the best driver on the grid and he will be looking to make the most of the last two race. If Max is able to pull this off then it will be one of the most incredible heists in F1. Yuki meanwhile had another race to forget as he was not able to score points. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">McLaren fumble in Vegas</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lando got the Pole position and Oscar was P4 at the race start. The first turn did not go well but still P2 is not a bad place to finish. Lando at point still had a comfortable lead over Max and Oscar. However post race scrutiny by the FIA showed that the plank wear for both the McLarens was more than the stipulated amount. The rules are quite black and white. This lead to an immediate suspension of both the McLarens. The team did have an idea that the plank wear is too much and so Lando was asked to lift and coast towards the end of the race. That was no enough apparently and so they were out of the race. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The drivers championship is now very spicy. Oscar and Max are at the same point tally. Lando is just 24 points ahead of them. Two race and Sprint still left. The title can swing in any direction. Everyone has to put in all the effort but in the end luck will play a big factor. Like Latifi in 2021 some random event will decide the Drivers Championship. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mercedes making the most in Vegas </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">George was quick in all the practice sessions but did not make the most in Q3. Kimi had a disaster in Quali and was starting from P17. However a good strategy and a superb stint on the hards for most of the race meant that he ended up P3. The rookie is making the most of the final part of the season and compensating for the slump in the European leg. George Russell did the most that he could and thanks to McLaren DSQ ended up finishing P2. He must be chuffed with this. Mercedes look set to get P2 in the Constructors. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ferrari had another non-memorable weekend, although Charles drove well to finish P4 and Hamilton got P8 after starting from the back. Carlos had a great weekend as he started from P3 and finished P5. Isack got P6 and Nico P7. Both the HAAS finished in the points at P9 and P10. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Driver’s tally after Vegas. Resurgent Max </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It was a perfect weekend for Lando as got maximum points both in Sprint and Main Race. Kimi was superb with best finish of P2. Max started from pitlane and finished P3. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="534" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win-.jpg?resize=800%2C534&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1770" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?resize=1024%2C683&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?resize=1536%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?w=2048&amp;ssl=1 2048w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Brazil-lando-win--scaled.jpg?w=1600&amp;ssl=1 1600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Perfect Brazil for Lando</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lando seems to have found his groove and Oscar keeps on floundering. It was a perfect race for Lando as he took the Sprint Pole, then won the Sprint, got the Pole and then won the main race comfortably. He now has a healthy 24 points lead over Oscar. This all seemed distant at one point as Lando lost his touch and it was Oscar who was raking in the points. Things have turned and how. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Oscar started the weekend well and he seemed to be in touch this weekend. However the Sprint race was lacklustre and even the main race did not go well. He started from P4 in the race but a 10 second penalty for bumping into Kimi and then causing Charles to disqualify meant that it was a race to save points. He finished P5 and would not be happy with how things are. Three more race and a Sprint to go this season. Things can turn around quickly as even a single DNF can change everything. So needs to focus on the next race. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Brazil best weekend for Kimi </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was one weekend that Kimi wanted to go well. The 19 year old has been burdened with a lot thanks to the Mercedes seat besides George, who is in mega form. This weekend however it was Kimi who had the upper hand all the time. He was P2 in Sprint as well as in the main race. It is very important for him to get some good results before the season end as it will works wonders for his confidence. George was not in touch the entire weekend. He finished P4 and would not be happy to see his rookie teammate ahead of him. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Masterclass from Max in Brazil </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It was another of the superlative performances from Max that just leaves everyone astounded. Last year he went from P17 to race win. This time he started even further back, literally from the pitlane and managed to finished P2. While he is far from Lando, Oscar is not that ahead. The fight is very much on. Yuki had another race to forget. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Same was the case with Ferrari drivers Charles and Lewis – both retired. Bearman had a great weekend as he finished P6. Both the B team Red Bulls finished P7 and P8. Nico was impressive at P9 and Driver no. 10 Pierre Gasly got the tenth place. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Brazil GP : Lando extends lead</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Lando started from Pole at Mexico and won with a healthy margin. Charles held on to P2 as Max was chasing him wildly. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="450" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?resize=800%2C450&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1763" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?resize=1536%2C864&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/mexico-lando-2025.jpg?w=1600&amp;ssl=1 1600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Lando wins in Mexico</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Before the Mexico GP, it was all about Piastri and Max. The gap between the two had closed in from 104 points 5 races ago to just 40 points. No one was talking about Lando who was still P2 and very much in the fight for the Championship. However in all the practice sessions it was Lando who looked very much in the groove and Oscar was all over the place. He has not been on the podium the last three races and it did not happen in Mexico either. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Oscar started with a 14 points lead to Lando. Now Lando is the Championship leader with Oscar just a point behind him. With 4 races more to go, including two Sprints, the fight for Championship is very much on. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Charles got P2 in Mexico</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ferrari did well in Quali with Charles at P2 and Lewis P3. However the race start, as it usually happens in Mexico, did not go well for Lewis. Max tried to overtake him from the outside and it did not go well. Lewis stuck to P3 but then Max tried again a few laps later and now it will Max and Ollie Bearman who went past him and Lewis was handed a 10 second penalty, which pretty much scuttled his race. He finished P8. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Charles stuck to his P2 position throughout the race but was challenged big time by Max on fresher softs. Charles was saved by the skin of his teeth all thanks to the Virtual Safety Car towards the end. He would still be very happy with the P2 position. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Max maxes in Mexico</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was not a track for Max to thrive. He has done very well in the last few races but the car did not suit the high altitude track. Still Max being Max tried to make the most of it. Max went for a lunge at the start and nearly crashed but escaped. He went on a different one-stop strategy which took him from P8 to P3. The flying Dutchman almost got the P2 if not for the last VSC. He is doing the most to get out of the car. The Championship for him seems remote but not impossible with 4 races to go. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ollie Bearman had the race of his life. He went from P9 to P3 and was there for most of the race. Eventually Max overtook and he had to settle for P4 which is still his best finish in F1. Even his team-mate Ocon did very well to finish in the points at P9. Mercedes lacked a bit of pace here and Kimi finished P6 and George P7. Bortoleto got the final point at P10. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mexico GP Top 10 : Lando wins big </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">George Russell had a performance that came from nowhere in Singapore. Max came second and Norris third. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="450" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george.jpg?resize=800%2C450&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1753" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?resize=1536%2C864&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?w=2048&amp;ssl=1 2048w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/singapore-george-scaled.jpg?w=1600&amp;ssl=1 1600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">George wins in Singapore </h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">George by his own admission was not expecting any good performance in Singapore. The Mercedes is more suited to colder temperatures and Singapore certainly is not one. The practice sessions on Friday were not good either. However things came alive in the final Q3 session and George took the Pole position. From then onwards there was no looking back in the race. George was ahead of Max at the first turn and he went on to win the race. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His rookie team mate was not bad either, driving in Singapore for the first time. He finished P5. Mercedes would be hoping to continue the positive turn of events in the Americas too. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Mclaren wins Constructors in Singapore</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It was pretty obvious that McLaren will win the Constructors. They were dominant throughout the season and both the drivers performed well. Winning the Constructors 6 races before the season ends is a testament to that. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However their drivers are fighting hard with each other for the Driver’s Championship. Oscar is leading the race but Lando is not far behind. The Quali did not go as well as they would have expected though with Oscar starting P3 and Lando P5. However Lando was on the cleaner side and he managed to sneak in and get ahead of Oscar in the first lap. There was a slight touch and Oscar was not happy about it at all. This is very unlike of him as he stays calm most of the time. The crash in Baku and the pressures of the Championship seems to be weighting him down. Lando has no regrets and sees it as a racing incident but things are starting to heat up between the two. The gap between them is just 22 points and now that the Constructors is wrapped up, it is game on between the two. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Max still in the hunt in Singapore</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Red Bull seems to have come alive with Max winning the previous two races. Even here he almost got the Pole. Max took the risk to start on Softs and get a jump ahead but that did not materialize. Eventually he had to settle for P2. He would still be happy. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Both the Ferraris were disappointing again With Charles finishing P6 and Lewis P8. Alonso finished P7 and Carlos P10. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Singapore GP Top 10 : George wins </h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="800" height="1000" src="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Singapore-George-top-10.jpg?resize=800%2C1000&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-1754" style="width:670px;height:auto" loading="lazy" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Singapore-George-top-10.jpg?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Singapore-George-top-10.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Singapore-George-top-10.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/formula1.buzz/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Singapore-George-top-10.jpg?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure>
