Aus GP: Charles wins, Max DNF

Charles Leclerc wins the F1 GP in Australia as Max Verstappen retires again. Perez took the P2 spot while George got his 1st Mercedes podium.

Charles kicked off F1’s new era with victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix as he led a Ferrari 1-2. Reigning world champion Max DNF

A thrilling Quali session in Bahrain saw Charles Leclerc take his tenth F1 pole position. Max came second and Carlos third.

The three days of testing in Barcelona provided Formula 1 drivers and teams with their first proper insight into how the 2022 cars behave.

Three more teams launched their cars : Mercedes, McLaren and Alpine. All have different looking cars and different liveries.

Three more team car launches for 2022 – Williams, AlphaTauri and Ferrari. We saw three different car designs.

Till date we have seen three car launches – HAAS, Red Bull and Aston Martin. However only Aston showed us the real 2022 car.

A last lap overtake by Max Verstappen on Softs at the Abu Dhabi GP earned him the 2021 World Championship. Mercedes had pace but no luck.

Max gets a fantastic tow from him team-mate Checo to put in a scintillating lap at Abu Dhabi to get the Pole. Lewis had no answer to that.
