Canada Quali: Max on Pole in rains

Max drove superbly in the rains in Canada to get another pole. Nico Hulkenburg pulled a stunner to get on the front row but got a 3 place penalty. So Alonso will be P2 and Mercs in the second row.

Max Masterclass in Canada

It was all about the rains and the timing in the wet Quali session in Montreal Canada. Max Verstappen made sure that he was the first to come out in every session, was always on the right tyre and put in the laps. Meanwhile his teammate had another horrible quali session and he will be starting P12.

Alonso in form in Canada

Alonso after some hiccups managed to get in top form again. His team-mate and home-hero Stroll had a bad weekend and will be starting P16. Nico Hulkenburg made the most of the wet session to land P2 but was given a 3-place grid penalty and will be starting P5.

Mercedes were struggling a bit but will be happy to start from the second row. McLaren did well to be starting P7 and P8. Ocon managed to get P6 but Gasly was impeded by Carlos and he didn’t get out of Q1.

Ferrari had another disaster class with LeClerc P10 and Carlos P11.
