Singapore GP : 1st win for Max here
Max wins his first Singapore race. Charles finished second and Kimi clinched the third place in the heat and humidity of Singapore.

Simply Lovely in Singapore
It was a Sprint weekend and Max was dominant the entire time. He got the Sprint Pole, won the Sprint race, got Pole for the main race and won that one too. This was vintage Max Verstappen at his peak. It is very impressive how good the Red Bull has become, especially under Max. This is their first season building their own engine and they are on top of the game. Compare and contrast it with Aston Martin and Honda and one can do nothing but appreciate tremendously the good job that Red Bull is doing. Their chassis is also very robust and just getting better and better. The only issue is that the spectacular form has come a bit late in the season and even with the current form Max is at fourth place in the Championship.
Isack Hadjar had a weekend to forget but it was not his fault. The engine issues were there all the time and he could not compete in the Qualifying. He had to climb back up from behind and finished in the lone points position at P10.
Ferrari fumble in Singapore
Ferrari was in a strong position with Charles in P2 and Lewis P3 at race start. Both had good pace although not as good as to compete with Max. Charles got the strategy right with the VSC and he had the pace. Lewis even with the pace got the strategy wrong. He was left on old soft tyres and struggled to keep the pace, eventually finishing P6. They need to figure out what went wrong with the strategy.
Mclaren no pace
It is surprising how good McLaren was good mid-season, especially Lando, and they have just fallen off the cliff. They are in no position to beat Max, Mercedes and the Ferarris. Lando finished a respectable P4 and Oscar P5.
Mercedes upgrades did not work
This was shocking. Mercedes came to Singapore with upgrades but they did not work. In fact, overall the car was slower by 0.3 seconds approx as compared to the previous version. Kimi still made the most of the situation and got the final podium step at P3. George Russell had taken the engine penalty and he finished P9 while climbing from the back of the grid.
Liam Lawson finished a sweet P7 and Hulkenburg finished P8.
